CUBBE SCHOOLS

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR SCHOOLS

Coherent with CUBBE’s Vision, we offer a range of services/programs to cater the simple and complex needs of not just the school children but the school community itself which consists of different layers of people and resources.

The range of services reflects two types of problem-solving approach so as to address the needs. First, the range reflects the intensity of services and severity of the problem. Second, the range also reflects the family cycle (systemic/ecological) approach which is based on the fact that there are different challenges at different ages and these challenges interacts with various ecological components at a given time.

COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAMS

Early identification program is aimed at identifying children at risk of academic, cognitive, behavioral and sensory-motor issues. EI2 Square is a multidisciplinary approach.

Early Identification for Early Intervention Program (EI Square)

What if we can identify the strengths and difficulties of children before they lead to social and emotional consequences? This of course can be done if schools pay attention to the fact that early identification leads to early intervention which consequently leads to decrease the chances of complete/satisfactory remediation of the issues faced by children. This also leads to sensitizing the whole system in a way that social inclusion starts happening.

EI Square puts the team efforts in a systematic manner form early screening to generating reports and psychoeducating the school and parents leading to workable solution can be implemented. Children identified can opt for comprehensive and individualized assessments if recommended. EI Square also reduce the overall costs per child as it is administered in a group setting. It also reduces the unnecessary use of comprehensive assessments when actually its not required.

A School-Wide Positive Behavior Support Program

Tier 1 systems, data, and practices impact everyone across all settings. They establish the foundation for delivering regular, proactive support and preventing unwanted behaviors.

Tier 1 emphasizes prosocial skills and expectations by teaching and acknowledging appropriate student behavior. Teams, data, consistent policies, professional development, and evaluation are essential components for these practices to work effectively.

Tier 2 practices and systems provide targeted support for students who are not successful with Tier 1 supports alone. The focus is on supporting students who are at risk for developing more serious problem behavior before they start. Essentially, the support at this level is more focused than Tier 1 and less intensive than Tier 3. At most schools, there are 1-5% of students for whom Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports have not connected.

Tier 3, these students receive more intensive, individualized support to improve their behavioral and academic outcomes.Tier 3 strategies work for students with developmental disabilities, autism, emotional and behavioral disorders, and students with no diagnostic label at all.

It is a 3-tiered program for children with behavior problems at school. Each tier offers different programs with different intensities.

It is offered as a year-round program.
